ABVV - Animated Explainer Videos
A series of crystal clear explainer video’s to set the newly unemployed on the right course
ABVV Oost-Vlaanderen approached us to visualise the right course of action for individuals facing unemployment. This included defining all the different organisations you have to talk to with their specific obligations to you, listing the requirements for receiving unemployment benefits, how to fill in the right documents, tutorials etc.
Since there are a lot of aspects to this type of situation, there was a lot of derived audiovisual material to be made with a lot of recurring info. So we designed an expansive set of characters and illustrations to create a package of reusable assets. These custom animations are used on websites, social media, during activities, in explainer videos, in the ABVV centers & during webinars.
The visuals were designed with clarity to ensure easy comprehension, specifically catering to marginalized individuals seeking employment. The emphasis on accessibility and simplicity aimed to empower and engage this audience, facilitating their understanding of - oftentimes crucial - work related information through compelling and inclusive animated content.
The ABVV, which stands for General Federation of Belgian Labour in English, is one of the country’s major worker unions in Belgium. They operate as a significant force in representing workers and advocating for their rights. The union is involved in negotiations with employers and government authorities on issues such as wages, working conditions, and social policies. Like other trade unions, the ABVV aims to protect the interests of workers and promote social justice in the labor market.
